Each year, Jeffco Open Space recognizes outstanding volunteers and partners at the Conservation Awards. This year, the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County will be honored for their exemplary contributions to Jeffco Open Space over the last 50 years. The Jeffco League had 27 league members involved in the formation of the Jeffco Open Space. Open Space has interviewed several of the remaining members and taped the interview of Bette Seeland. On behalf of LWVJeffco, Christina Manthey and Lisa Decker will accept the award.
