Ways To Communicate
YOU CAN:
1. ASK them to support or oppose a bill/resolution or action.
2. THANK them for a vote you appreciated.
3. TELL them which issue matters most to you.
IN PERSON
A face-to-face visit to your representative is an effective way to deliver your message. If you plan to visit their office or the Capitol, make an appointment.
IN WRITING
Make your message brief and send it several days before the item will be discussed in committee or on the floor. Email usually works best, since letters may take weeks to be delivered, due to security screening.
